CO Steve.....a .45 ACP 230 gr JHP+P is 418 ft/lbs at 50 yards....10 MM is close weighing in at 180 grains....ACP ammo is cheaper and easier to find so.......just thinking out loud....

Worked for several years with a Cowpoke from Northern Montana. He only used his grandpa's 92 in 25-20....killed everything he needed to in both Montana and East Texas. BlaineG....man you cannot beat a Ford. I have had 5 since 1978. The first 3 had 300 Inline sixes and ran 100,000 plus miles with zero repairs. I currently have two F150's. A 1999 Extended cab XLT with the 4.6 V8.....225,000 miles and still running great.and a 2005 F150 SuperCrew XLT with the 5.4 V8....

Great post. Way back in the very early '70's you could buy 'em at Otasco's for about $29 a pop.....never shot one but did see a carbine one time blowing flames out the muzzle about a foot long.....good luck on the doe. IMHO they taste better than any antlers ever did.
