Be careful about spooking buzzards. They keep food (rotten) in their gullet to let it digest. When they're attacked, they barf it up, it it smells HORRIBLE! My uncle spooked one in his barn, and he ended up not using that barn for months, the smell was so bad.

I saw an episode of "Cops" where some idiot cop was chewing some guys butt for shooting birdshot into the air on a holiday. The guy was just barely inside the city limits, but this cop just HAD to be a jerk about it. I guess he had to look like a nazi for the camera.

Neatsfoot oil and Loxol both suck. They slowly rot stitching and degrade leather.

As for cleaning the bullet loops, use a nylon bore brush or a neck brush.

Way to go. Not enough people anymore that do things like this as a family, including my wife. It may not seem like a big deal at the time, but just raking the yard together, decorating Christmas cookies together, and just being together makes a lot of difference.

Oxygen sensor? The oxygen sensor went out on my wife's car, and it started doing some really wierd stuff.

There are Stab jags, and Wrap jags. The stab jag has the pointy thing on top, and is made for you to stab the little point through a patch, for scrubbing.

The wrap jag is made for wrapping the patch around it, and has no point. (Not that they're pointless. Well, in a sense.......)
