Speaking of transmissions, I did hear of a fellow who put a bullet through his accidentally by placing a loaded rifle with the muzzle pointing downward inside the passenger compartment. Shocked A self inflicted transmission dysfunction!! Well, one thing for sure, that was a very expensive ND. Think...

Hey, that box of stuff had M1, 1903, and mini-14 mags in it, as well as a bunch of other stuff that I didn't need that I traded for stuff I DID need, including a .30 cal ammo belt and pouches, bullets, parts, etc.. Never be afraid to buy a junk box. I bought one for $5 that had TWO old model convers...

I was trying out loads for my 94 last time I went to the range, and wondered what the hell had happened to my rifle! My back was hurting, so I shot from the bench, and all the loads I tested strung in a straight line. I had no idea what was happening, but I know this rifle was a shooter when I gave ...

Don't speak so loudly that you all have fun with BB guns or else the Clintonistas will figure a way to add them to the next Gun Bill    Oh and that is one nice Levergun :D You laugh, but I wouldn't put it past them. Napoleon issued orders to kill anyone caught with one, back in his d...

Thanks for posting that, a good lesson for us all!! I have SO FAR avoided this by charging all the cases with powder, checking them with a little flashlight, THEN seating the bullets. I am easily distracted and get out of sync every so often so I try to use a technique that will negate this as much...

Well, what did you expect. Bill died. I'm surprised it took this long. Have you seen the newest abortion. A pistol made on a 10/22 receiver. Ole Bill must be rolling. Won't be long till all they make are the ugliest (this from a Glock owner) auto pistols on the market. They want the police market. ...

One of the indoor ranges I shoot at has a policy of not renting guns to people who come in alone (singles)...they figure they may not have target practice in mind. Probably a good policy, and may help some one to not shoot themself. Sounds like a good way to end up with groups inexperienced idiots ...

That's just creepy as hell. I was riding colts for a family friend once, and since their place was right down in a hollow where the creek barely moves, it was just humid as hell there, so I'd go over there about daylight, to beat the heat, since it was the hot part of summer. There was an old gravey...

Re: I Wonder If Some People Can Talk To Angels....
I swear to God this is exactly as it was related to me by my very reliable sister: My Sister talked to someone, (in person..not a 900 number ), who purported to talk to angles and "know" stuff. She sez that this fella, without prior knowledge of her at all, nailed her life, every det...

I believe I'd get her one of those girlie colored, woman sized tool kits from homo depot and see if she gets the hint. Plus one on the Puma .454 lever/.45 Colt revolver combo! I'd also considered this setup. If you like DA's, You might also consider the .480, since you can also shoot .454's and .45 Colts. As for the stainless, it's just a personal decision. You can have them bead blasted to keep shine down with a ma...

Depends on how dirty they are. If I just shot a few rounds, I'll wipe 'em down good, maybe run the bore snake or a wet patch through, but not get too excited about it. If I shoot a hundred rounds or more, I'll probably give them the full tear down/detail cleaning and examination. Leverguns and sixgu...
