Rossi M92 45Colt accuracy?
Rossi Puma 45Colt with factory scout scope setup. Went to the range last weekend, less than ideal conditions, gusty crosswinds, but I wanted to sight in and try my Simmons 4x LER scout scope. I hadn't been able to really try out this rifle at distance yet. I had loaded 250g XTP over 25gr and 26gr H1...

Re: Warning about Midway
Hmmm. Don't know if this is routine now or not, but I ordered a scope from Midway, sent UPS. Once it made it to the UPS depot (3/4 mile from my house), it was then delivered to the local Post Office for delivery (???) . My regular postman delivered it, left it on the porch for me (good guy). I thoug...

Re: Warning about Midway
Guess I'm lucky, UPS will leave packages at the door. I've never heard of this policy before, weird and absurd.

Re: School me on shotgun rifled slug barrels.
Rem 870 20ga w/ Hastings rifled, ported barrel and cantilever scope mount works for me. Slicked up the trigger. The Buckhammer slug loads are very accurate and give good groups.
Took a buck with my Marlin 94 and then never saw another when I had the 870 last season.

Re: Rockchucker press - ball handle vs roller handle
I don't have a Rockchucker, but I had a Lee with the wooden ball. It made my hand very sore when I was "on a roll" reloading. I changed it to a straight handle and it was more comfortable. My Dillon has a similar roller handle as the picture and it is much easier to use when doing big runs...

Re: Puma 92 magazine tube knurled end cap
Moot point, the end cap is like other Rossi's. I was under the assumption that the slot in the end of the cap was due to it being threaded. It isn't. Showing my rookie stripes.
Guess I'll do Steve's gate spring "lighten procedure" and be happy.

Re: Puma 92 magazine tube knurled end cap
Great round in my Marlin 94 also, took a buck last season with it.
The loading gate in the Puma 92 isn't as friendly w/ the bigger round for my fingers.

Re: Puma 92 magazine tube knurled end cap
I heard that the loading gate can be tough on the Leverevolution bullets and that certain models of the Puma 92 have a end cap that allows loading from the barrel end of the magazine.
Since I'm using my 45 Colt primarily for hunting purposes, I was curious if I could get this end cap.

Puma 92 magazine tube knurled end cap
Just curious where I might obtain a knurled/threaded end cap for the magazine tube for a LSI Puma in 45 Colt? Does anyone make them? Mine has a set screw and a large slot in the cap to remove it. Somewhat of a pain to remove quickly.
