OT - Way OT, not even in the ball park. I need a fan part

Very, Way OT, not even in the ball park. I need a fan part fabricated. I have an old Westinghouse oscillating fan that works better than any of the new junk. But the part that connects the base to the motor and the oscillator parts has broken. I've epoxied it once and it broke again. This part is ma...

Skinner Front Sight question

I know what rear sights I'm going to use on my lever guns as soon as I can get them D&T'd. But the front sights are the questions. I do not want the bead sights, they gotta go. I've decided I want a narrow blade or post sight, so I was checking out the Skinner front sights and think I might orde...

Levergun sights, late 1800s to early 1900s.

This question is for those of us who collect and shoot the old leverguns. I've seen many with small post type sights on them, both rifle and carbines. Then I've seen less with bead sights. My question is which is, or was the most common sight used on the lever guns of this time period? If I don't ha...

From what I see, $450 isn't too much. Some TLC and it's good to go.

I know you want to replace the entire rear sight, but you might try calling Marbles for an elevator. I'm sure they would have something that would work.

The Mirokus are a good quality guns, I only gripe about them because of the lawyered up actions.
