If you are buying new----

Purchased a new Honda last April. Did it with emails. Found every dealer on Honda's website within 200 miles. Sent very descriptive emails to each with exact vehicle and equipment required and asking for final price only. No phone calls allowed. Amazing results - got over $6000 off of a Ridgeline at...

The fast growing town of Zachary.

I will look into Corrosion X - I know they make packets for moisture control for electronics and instrumentation. Fantastic stuff. Have not ever seen it available as liquid or spray.

Humid environments----

So - what do you look for in a gun for ultra humid environments? Here in Louisiana, it is not uncommon at all to walk outside holding something metallic or glass and have it instantly be covered with lots of condensing water. Being new to all this, seems to me that only a stainless gun could stand u...

Thanks guys. Do you have opinions of range and accuracy comparisons for the 357 vs 44? I am sure there are various rounds available to select from. Why would you select one over the other? I like the idea of an acurate long range cartridge and realize for that a true center fire rifle would be bette...

Yea - sure - but who makes a lever shotgun ??? Am also thinking strongly of the shotgun approach but have this lust for a lever gun!!! Had read some recommendations of the pistol rounds in rifles as great rounds for in-home use compared to true rifle cartriges but maybe a bad idea. Read that t...

.357mag vs .44mag benefits / suggested guns

New to this. Desire a lever gun for fun and home defense. Thinking of the pistol calibers in a lever gun. Which caliber is recommended for accuracy, distance, application 357 mag or 44 mag? Have read that the 357 might be more accurate but not sure. Cost of ammo differences? I am not a reloader. The...

22 lever gun suggestions---

I would like to buy a quality 22lr lever. So, Browning, Marlin and Henry come to mind. The Marlin 39a now has a 24" barrel which seems just too long. Thought they used to make a 20" which I think would be perfect but don't know how long ago they dropped them. I like the Marlin's beefier si...
