Re: One rifle, one pistol
I'd love to say my 1895 GS and Single six. But the truth is it'd be my Springfield Scout Squad and my Randall lefty 1911A1. I know the 7.62x51 and the .45 acp well. I know they work when it counts. But you forgot one shotgun. In that case my choice is a lefty Remington 870, 12 gauge of course. +1

. About 15 years ago, I bought a similar Model 351PD in .22Mag when they were 1st introduced, paying $325 OTD @ a local funshop. When I found out how high the demand for one was, about 10mos later - I flipped it in a New York Minute @ a funshow for $450. The flip didn't involve a lot of remorse in ...

My wife got a 9mm Ruger LCR with star clips and the trigger pull is pretty light. I shot a back up gun qualification with it, and it is a great, light, little gun. Keep in mind today was the first time I beat her in a rifle match in a couple of months.

I like the short barreled carbines for lever guns but have both in .45 LC, a Henry carbine and a 20 inch 1892 Rossi. The Rossi is lighter so gets carried more both have red dots on them for evening and night problems.

GREAT finds and rifles. I don't have one in .357 but carry the .44 MAG often. I have a red dot on it as even with my latest pair of glasses I can't see the sights well enough, as I used to
A bit beat up from carrying but works well even after dark.

When working I am restricted to a Sig 229 in .357 Sig, a Glock .43 (back up), and 5.56 rifle (if needed) or Remington 870 Police Magnum. Of on my own, it depends where I am or what I am doing. In Alaska at the farm, I carry a 3in 629 .44 Mag or a Glock 30SF with a Bar-Sto 10mm barrel. In Arizona ar...
