As more people send their stuff back, cost to Marlin should dictate tighter controls on new stuff.

Maybe your problem created a new step in final barrel checks.

Glad they made it right for you!

The sights are not inside the bore - they rest on top, on a different axis. If gravity did not exist, it would probably not matter, but since it does, your gun's elevation is sighted to take that into consideration. Cant it in one direction and the POI will change. If you cant your gun the same all ...

Congrats! Size your bullets .002" larger than bore and you should not have any leading with that load. You'll need to slug your bore to find out what size to size your bullets to. If you are going to use jacketed bullets also, you will want to use a bore foam to clean ALL copper fouling out as ...

The NC handgun permit is simply a note saying the local sheriff gives you permission to buy a gun. There is nowhere on the permit to write any information. They are $5. I've never been asked for one outside of a gunshop.

Thanks for settin' me straight Pete.

If you ever want to try a pair of gloves for cold weather, try SealSkinz.

Also, I'm a puss when it's cold. You won't find me hunting if it colder than zero degrees F.

You are correct that keeping your fingers together in forty below is the only way to go.

.358 Win is the same as a necked up .308 Win, although if you neck up .308 it's a little short.

The .356 Win is the rimmed version of the .358. As the .307 Win is the rimmed version of the .308 Win.
