Have the same problem, they usually only show up in the early summer for us not sure why. In the picture they left the dog bowl and are moving up to the cat bowl via the side of the house. http://i532.photobucket.com/albums/ee323/reo275/MomConandDadCamping005.jpg Them look deadly, they have fangs!!...

Re: Bisley grip or Std. SA grip ??????
I like the Bisley grip much better than the regular grip frame on my Rugers. I think that the Bisley is more controllable upon recoil and they point easier for me. I also have large hands and I don't get rapped on the nuckles with the Bisley grips. http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l147/jengel300/le...

I too have an 1895 GS with leverscout mount, Leupold QRW rings and Leupold Scout Scope. I have not had a problem with this system. I personally think that the heavier recoiling gun that you have, the lighter and higher quality scope you should put on it. There are a lot of G forces acting on the sco...

Could it be because the Natl Guard is a state organization that takes it's orders from the Governor of your state through the Adjutant General. It isn't Federal until absolutely necessary. Just a thought.

Re: OT-bolt action 223 or 243 for grandkids?
I was thinking of a 788 remington. The 788 is a excellent gun if you can find one for cheap. Around here, they are highly sought after. If you are set on a bolt action, you might want to look at the Weatherby Vanguard youth model that comes with an extra full size stock. The one on the shelf here i...

I can't find a .41 mag on the S&W Website either. That sucks. I really like my Liberty model 4 5/8" Blackhawk though. When the Ruger rep stopped by a couple of days ago, I expressed desire for more .41 mag stuff, especially a 77/41. That would be the cat's pajamas...

When Tom Knapp was here in May, he said that Federal makes a subsonic round for 12ga. He had a "choke" that was really a barrel extension for his Benelli Nova that was about 5 feet long. It was not a suppressor but the sound was just like a suppressed gun. Kind of neat.
