Looks good...to get a better comparison, take a look at the large lever loop that Wild West Guns has on thier web site. Yours looks pretty close to what they have...I have one on my 1895GS from them. I like it when it's cold and I'm wearing gloves...
Nice work!

Re: Heavy Buckshot on Bear?
I lived in Alaska for over a decade and hunted with a friend who was a Professional Bear Hunter(Grizz). He advised, "Shotguns are for use on birds or someone who needs to aquire the skills to handle a big bore." His argument made sense, but I'd rather have a shotgun vs. nothing at all....T...

Take a close look at the Springfield Scope 6X Govt...It has an internal range finder that is balistic matched to the 7.62 Nato round...it works and is good to 700 meters. I love mine. I like Leupold Scopes too and have a couple mounted on my other weapons... As a Marine, we packed ours all day and n...

The 350 or 405 grain Kodiak bullet first choice, 350 Grain Swift A-Frame second choice. The 350 Grain Kodiak is one outstanding bullet. I use this exclusively in my 1895 45-70/457 WW Mag...Mine are loaded to 2200fps and make an excellent deer/elk round. Nice clean hole and no meat damage. I sent my...

Happy Hour In Texas
A cowboy is driving down a back road in Texas.
A sign in front of a restaurant reads:
HAPPY HOUR SPECIAL
Lobster Tail and Beer
"Lord almighty" he says to himself, "my three favorite things!!"
