That was one of the reasons I didn't go with the Henry when I was looking for a pistol caliber carbine. I ended up going with a Ruger 77/357 instead. I just need to shoot it more.

Jr is going to end up with it however it comes out, but wouldn't you know it he came over today and II handed him the pistol and before I could explain anything to him he was standing there with it torn down down in three pieces. I guess I need that carpel tunnel surgery more than I thought.

I looked at the tank models but we don't do enough printing to make it worthwhile so I got the same version that uses the cartridges. I haven't had any problems but haven't used it much either.

This one isn't the topbreak. It just has a pin that holds the cylinder in the frame. These were made from the late 20s till 1952. The trouble is getting the pin out, it is tough.

I never heard Dirty Harry ever carried anything but a .44 mag, never heard the stuff about the other calibers. I did hear though that in a few scenes he carried an 8 3/8th version instead of the 6.5 for the added screen effect.
