My Dad has been battling cancer for some time now but last year when he and Mom was out of town at the hospital my cousin stole all his pain meds. My cousin is in prison now on several different charges but if I ever see him again he may be visiting the hospital. It makes it worse when its someone c...

If you are looking for an American made, fixed blade knife that is under $20 and razor sharp check out the Paklite series knives by Buck. They have a skeletonized handle(wrapped mine in parachute cord) making them very light weight and when on your belt you forget they are there, can't say that abou...

One center mass hit from the 223 and they wouldn't have had to handcuff him. Big game bullets in the 223 makes it a much better killer, the military and PD's ought to use them. My 2 cents.

I've looked at them before and this is only a opinion since I never owned one. They look cool but for anything other than hand to hand fighting a hatchet would be a much better tool. The cutting edge on the Fasthawk is too small for real use and the spiked end is only good for piercing amour and sku...

There is a way to fireform real cheap without using any bullets and do it in the garage. Use pistol powder, cream of wheat, and cleaning patches(or wax, crisco, etc, etc.) to hold it in place. IMO the 270 is the most versatile deer cartridge made. Not much recoil and trajectory of a magnum round. My dad and brother have hunted with 270's for over 30 years a piece and the 270 always performs. I've seen them kill lots of deer with them and examined even more wound channels produced by the 2...

I think you mean 7.62 or 5.56 NATO. Either one without a doubt would be easier to carry than 45-70. The thing about about the light rounds is that just means the soldier carries more of them so the load is not lighter. The soldiers today carry more weight than ever. IMO the troops need a better round right now. Issue them the MK-262 (77gr hpbt) ammo until the decision of what cartridge/weapon will replace the m-4. The MK-262 ammo is a good improvement in killing power, range and accuracy. It doesn't violate the Hague convention because the bullet was made for t...
