O T: scattergun upgrade

Been looking for a new shotgun and really like the feel of the Benelli field M2. Anybody have any gripes with these??I have always shot a 870 wingmaster and a 870 express.I really want a faster, lighter gun and they feel right in my hands. This 870 express I have is rougher than a cobb, the only reaso...

I use the bikini also but if you had a couple of those plastic caps they put on hydralic
lines and fittings that fit each end of the scope, then put something that streches from one
to the other. It might look a little trailer park but would work.

OT 243 or 257 ?

I always thought the roberts was a better round and wonderd why the 243 helped
put it to rest, other than being based off the 308 case. The numbers favor the 257
by a slight margin and you can go a little heavier on the bullets.

I was just looking at my 1975 336 30-30 and noticed that the tube mag has a 1/16 gap between tube and barrel where it comes out of the wood. The band next too the front sight that holds them together pulls them together at no gap.It seems to be pulling tube up so it has a bend up.I checked my mag on ...
