Re: Like, TOTALLY OT - Best Shave Cream
Interesting... and news to me. I try not to read or even think about the wench. She can afford a lot of good publicity and naturally the liberal press loves her. I did hear she was appointed to some cabinet post or other.   I just wanted you to be able to look in the mirror while...

I have one that was given to me. It works as intended... the time savings of the quick change die feature is possibly offset by the price of an adapter for every die you intend to use on the press...
Bottom line: I like it.

Re: Front sight for Browning 92 ?
NKJ,
That pinned on sight looks to be the way to go. The barrel is very light and I don't think there is enough 'meat' for a dovetail... 'least not with me running the file.
Thanks for the pic's
Looks like I will be using a marbles sight for the project, I like those serrations.

Front sight for Browning 92 ?
Greetings all ! I have a Browning 92 and would like to do something about the front sight, maybe a blade with a gold or white bead. I understand some machining will be involved. My old Remington 725 front sight has a nice blade held in by a pin, does anyone know of a source for these ? I am also ope...

I have a pair... best packs I've ever owned. When I ordered mine I got an extra set of liners and swap them out between days when I'm wearing them. Comfort? You bet... and I have flat feet. I highly recommend them.

I used to have a Detonics Combat Master... Once, at the range, a fellow I barely knew wanted to shoot it across his Chrony to see what the velocity was out of its abreviated barrel. I warned him it shot quite low.
I warned him twice.
He didn't listen.

Welcome aboard Jake 8) It's pretty hard to price them because they are not often for sale. I think Hobie is on the high end unless its darn near new. You may want to post it over at the new home for wayward sixgunners and see what they think. http://single-actions.phpbb3now.com/index.php revorg

Well, today I would like a M92 short rifle... based on a Browning 92 in 44 magnum. Octagon barrel, short forend and the traditional cresent buttstock. No extra safetys and no rebounding hammer thingys.
High grade wood, of course.

I have an early 444 and a 1st year 1895 45-70. I think the 444 loads and cycles smoother, it also shoots much tighter than my 1895. They are both more gun than is needed for a Maine white tail... Somehow, I have shot more than twice as many deer with the 45-70, It's a lucky rifle I guess. rev...

Pistol grips and recoil... ?
Hey guys :D I tend to prefer the looks and feel of the straight stocked Marlins. However, I keep running into the idea that the pistol grips 'handle' recoil better. What is meant by this statement ? Is the stock physically stronger ? Does the pistol grip lower felt recoil ? Is this a just a bunch of...
