IMHO the 357 Mag muzzle blast, wall penetration and flash would keep me from wanting it to be my first choice for HOME self defence. I want to be able to hear, see, and not be worried as much about innocent people in the house If I am in a shoot out with the intruder. Just my two cents, RR7

Get you some cordovan shoe polish for the belt and it will help make it match. That's one Idea, but try a small spot first to see. It usually depends on how the belt was treated. You may be able to find a match on Ebay but finding one with the correct caliber and size is not easy. RR7

I like saddle soap to clean and preserve the leather. I then use shoe polish to sharpen them up a bit then buff them up real good. Lexol is a good preservative but be careful how much and how you apply it. A little goes a long way. If possible I prefer not to use a preservative. Thats my two cents. ...

These are nice fully tooled cowboy wrist show cuffs with sterling concho snaps to go with my S.D. Myres Colt SAA holster. I think they look good together, they are a little darker but close. coyotes are pretty tough. I have shot them square in the chest with a 243 or 223 and they still run away and die deep in the cedars. I always find them the next day dead. RR7
