Picked up a nice piece of "Old West" history.

This is a 4 1/2 by 3 inch calling/ business card of Dan Breen. He owned the Turf Exchange Saloon at 510 East Houston Street in San Antonio, Texas around the corner from the Alamo. It was a saloon and gambling house. Dan Breen had been partners with Billy Simms since 1895 until Simms death in 1909. B...

I use my Winchester 53 32-20 on coyotes and my win 1892 rifle 25-20 on turkey. My choice if I could only have one is the 32-20 because you can have a matching revolver. RR7

The Cabelas in Waco is one of the small ones, no gun libary or cafe. I always look at the used guns and saw a Sig Sauer 9 mm pistol for $325.00. I had to take a look. Walker, no I found it on line. I have one like yours for a vintage Colt SAA 4 3/4. They are great holsters and the Tom Threepersons model is my favorite for SAs. Nice pair. RR7

It's not mine; it is on EBay. I thought it was funny that he said it was from 1880s but still a great 1890s photo. He has others and they are priced about right but to much for me right now. One has chief Parker in it near Fort Sill. These are very rare original cabinet photos, not seen on EBay very...

86er, I have a Savage 99 TD in 3000-250 and it is great on white tail. My grandson may get a chance to use it this year if he keeps his nose clean. I like to use it on coyotes. :) RR7

Fwiedner, I agree but for some reason I have always liked a R.T. Frazier holster that was made the in the same style. It will take a few years to wear it down until it has character; if I'm around that long. It does cause a stir at the ranch from the other hunters. :lol: RR7

3leggedturtle, the belt is a Justin out of Fort Worth. The buckle and keeper were made by Jerry Finchum a spur maker. I'm sure you can find him on Google. RR7

Thanks 30wcf, I have added four 1911s this year. Colt, Springfield Armory, Kimber, and Sig. They all shoot great and feel good in my hand.
