Even those who go to a gun range a few times a year are still better off than those who never go. If I had the time and money, I'd go more often. I think at issue here on his rifle/cartridge choice is if the guy can shoot a 338RUM proficiently if he can I don't see an issue? A 30-06 may have been the answer for him maybe it isn't and you have to admit a 338RUM if you can shoot it accurately/proficiently will definately get the job done with a...

At what range do you have that 10mm sighted in for? Using Hornady's calculator, they show a 180 grain 10mm zeroed at 100 yards, still being over 33" low at 200 yards! If you're zeored for 50 yards or less, that's some drop. You must be holding pretty darn high. Not to even mention any potentia...

I use H110 in my top 45 Colt loads. A safe H110 load for your Puma M92 and Ruger SRH/250gr XTP's would be 24grs H110 I have shot many of these in my Puma M92/SRH's. When you compare that I load 38grs H110 in my 240gr XTP-Mag 454 Casull loads the Puma M92 will handle these loads with ease... edited b...
