Re: Please recommend a hunting peep sight.

OK I know you already made your choice, but if this thread is for future reference, I would pick the cheapest/smallest Williams sight - the WGRS I believe. You set it for your point-blank range and keep it there, and it accepts the apertures. It has infinite settings, as precise as you want, then n...

Tried to John Wayne it without the anaesthetic, no dice. 4 polyps removed, one perdunculated cancerous. Getting another hoobajoobascope in 6 weeks to make sure they got it. Gotta say I sure enjoyed the bran muffin they give you after the procedure, ordinarily I would kill for worse tasting food.

I go in tomorrow at noon. Had my first bag of Pico salax, boy does that stuff work fast! Took today off work as well for obvious reasons. The boys at work have been bugging me to see the movie, should I get it in DVD or "Brown Ray"?

I use a 50/50 mix of Lyman Green cob and Tuff nut. I always use a couple of old dryer sheets to take out the grime and every second buzzin' I add a TBSP of Nu Finish.

 It's not necessay to beat your kids, or HAVE to win every little battle. The important thing is to set reasonable boundries and if you say something, follow through with it. I was never strict with movies or music, but I made darn sure "K" understood that this was not only entertai...

Re: Please recommend a hunting peep sight.

Thanx so much for the answers, just came back from the bush with my young lads and my Winchester. We had a great time, my 5 yr old called in a doe with a Primus Fawn bleat but blew it when he hollered "Shoot Daddy"! He was wearing 30db muffs and didn't realize how loud he was, so whoops! I...

Please recommend a hunting peep sight.

Hi me peepers are getting a bit slow especially at twilight. Rifle is a 1956 Win 94 30-30, main purpose for the sight is deer hunting, 100 yds or less. All opinions enthusiastically welcomed, thanx.

Henry big Boy Vs Marlin 94

My young lad wants a lever in 44 mag. I automatically suggested a Marlin 94, he held a Henry and likes it. SO I would like to ask those who have used both, which is best? Thank you in advance.

Guide Gun Vs. Cowboy

Thanx to the help I've received from you great folks here, my next gun purchase will be a Marlin in 45/70. I would like to hear from you that have owned both in this caliber if one has an advantage over the other. Hunting in open timber, irons for now, maybe a scope later. I prefer the look of the C...

Re: OT- What part did 401Ks have in the downfall of the economy?

There is no way the country can allow the brightest, most experienced, networked, oh I could go on generation to retire and frugally leak their money back into the economy. Those that make the rules had to give us the "Boney five" to keep the Ponzi going. Madoff was a Leach but the whole g...

Great responses, thanx so much. 6pt sika I'm with you on "Buy American' even though I live in Canada. It's starting to look like i'll need a few more levers than I first realized. I guess that can't hurt the economy much. I doubt I'll get into cast bullets, but you never know. Hornady xtp when ...

Re: Sportsman's Warehouse sold to Canadian group?

UFA bought Wholesale sports and Russell sports up here as well. Looks like they're getting set up to compete with Bass-Pro and Cabelas who are both making inroads here. Should be a win-win for the consumer.
