Boy I need that !! Thanks Jim. . There is a HUGE feral Cat that lives in the abandoned house next door. He is rarely seen but when it got dark He came out and looked around like what's going on ? It must be a heck of a hunter to survive on only what it can catch.

The one for Me that "got away" about ten years ago was a Savage model 24 . Like new in the box .357 mag over 20 ga. It would have been the perfect deer/plinker here in Ohio. It is the only one I ever saw, I blinked and it was gone. Durn. .

I have looked at a few in the last six months. way better fit and finish, worked the lever as well and seemed pretty smooth. The local farm store has them for around $700.00, sometimes with a $75.00 of coupon.
