@ Otto. My Para Ord is a 1640 Signature in 40 S&W. Love this gun. I never had any trouble with any kind of ammo or bullets. It's also a very accurate gun as long as I do my part. I did some ammo testing with my Ruger 9622M. But I can see no upgrade in accuracy in only removing the barrel band. My rifle works best if the barrel band is very loose but still in place.
