@ Otto. My Para Ord is a 1640 Signature in 40 S&W. Love this gun. I never had any trouble with any kind of ammo or bullets. It's also a very accurate gun as long as I do my part. The single flyer is my fault. 20 meters Weaver Stance. http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee248/SwissRavenman/IMG_290...

Re: Another good Levergun, the Ruger Model 96 bites the dust

I did some ammo testing with my Ruger 9622M. But I can see no upgrade in accuracy in only removing the barrel band. My rifle works best if the barrel band is very loose but still in place. Will need some more testing and maybe a bedding job. http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee248/SwissRavenman/IMG...

@ AJMD429 *The only thing I don't care for is the 'barrel band' that was a look-alike for their sibling the 10/22. They dropped the band for the 77/22 bolt-actions, and should have for the 96/22's, but for me it wasn't exactly a deal-breaker - the gun is a shooter, not a display-piece. I sometimes j...
