Re: Browning B-92 Levergun is beautiful

It's surprising that cycling the action on a 32 year old levergun and find it "stiff", but it is. Wouldn't use it for SASS. This one hasn't been shot much. Probably in a closet/safe most of it's life. Even has a trace of rust where hands usually grab, so have those coated now. Not cleaned ...

Browning B-92 Levergun is beautiful

Finally found me a Browning 1892 clone in .44 mag and am in love. At the range I sighted in at 75 yards with American Eagle 240 grn HP's. Put 2 X's, a ten and 3 nines using the small original buckhorn sights. Not bad for 60+ yo eyes. Feels perfect in the hands and on the shoulder. Fit and finish are...

Re: OT-flashlights

While Surefires are great, if the dept. is paying for them, Fenix lights have more options, more light-output and are about 1/2 the price of Surefire.

I use the Fenix TK-12, built like a tank and super bright. I have two and would bet my life on them.

New Hawg-Leg?

I just saw Micheal Bane's coverage of NRA gun show. He showed a New Hawg-Leg pistol caliber lever-action being introduced. He didn't pronounce the company name correctly or give prices.
It's not the $3,000 custom job from Alaska either.

So who makes it? Web-site?

Thanks.
