Re: The Diamond with traditional levergun calibers
Diamond Great job and happy for you and with a lever action............smile I have to ask what is a bongo ? Why would anyone pay 40,000 dollars to kill a bongo? I gave less than that much for my 65 acres and a cabin on it. I do have deer running all over the place and wild turkeys but I'm sorry no ...

Yep, the first one is the best and will be the best. Remakes of movies never work.

Re: Can you/do you hunt with your leverguns?
Hunt with leverguns Yes, I hunt with leverguns. I can go from 22lr, 250-3000 sav,30-30ww,300sav,308ww. The only other type action rifles I have are: M1 carbine semi-auto and Lee-Enfield 303 brit jungle carbine bolt action. Now, if I could get a lever action shotgun. Make it up as a turkey gun, hmmmm...

It uses a lever to operate the action. Period. Be it a single shot or a repeater. Shotgun or rifle or anything that goes bang.
It is simple. What is the problem? Y'all are making a mountain out of a mole hill.

Re: OT - Brits: Pocket knives more dangerous than terrorists
Levergunner, They won't let you on an airplane with a knife. But a sidearm was ok? Now, I'm thinking this is really a cluster of the first degree. I blame them Brits. We have been bailing them out of their clusters since we kicked 'em out of this country, twice. They made that mess over in the land ...

OSOk, AR-15 can do it all..... My dribble on the subject. I agree with you, up to a certain point and I don't agree the AR can do it all. I don't agree with the notion the 94 can do it all, up to a certain point. The AR is a wonder and I think the 308 ww platform makes a GREAT all around rifle. THE ...

Re: OT - where the rubber meets the road - tire brand choice?
Rubber meets the road, BF Goodrich are good tires and get good tread life out of 'em but and yes there is a but. You are needing 'em for a car. I've had that brand on trucks and not cars. I'm using Firestone's Detination A/T on my truck and Jeep and 'am pleased. You might want to look at this web si...

I looked two over reallllll good at the NRA shot in Louisville,Ky back in May. I was impressed. They had a plain straight grip looked like hardwood and a pistol grip with checkering it was walnut. Looked and pointed just right for me. Just me telling what i thought.

My age: 57 yrs look like 67 yrs and feel like 77 yrs, today.
I have a 45 yr old wife a 12 yr old son a 14 yr old dog a 14 yr old Jeep a 10 yr old horse. My guns are at least my age or older for the most part but if they are not older than me they sure are close enough to call me brother.

j miller and all others re: scale won't hold settings The loose adjustment screw would cause the change due to vibrations.
