I've got a S&W 642 that would probably work well for ankle carry, but I carry it IWB.

IMHO the new Ruger .380 would be an excellent lightweight choice for ankle carry.

For a 9422M XTR, $500 is a very good price these days. Like others have already said, most are going to be $600, $700+.

I gave one to my dad a few years ago and he's still got it, NIB. Now we don't want to shoot it! The thing has already doubled in value since I bought it!

Blaine, I've got a Kahr MK40. Used to carry it a lot in a Mitch Rosen IWB holster. Though a bit heavy, it carried well, and shot very well. In my opinion, Kahr makes a very good gun.

I used to have a 1978 F-150 and had a gun rack mounted on the back wall, behind the bench seat. +1 for no advertising.
