Dont use no additive, just tumble with brown or white rice. Wipe cases before tumbling with methylated spirit. Gets rid of any external powder fouling that you get with straight walled cases. Been using Starline for years in all my handgun cals. Never ever a problem. Will continue to do so, though here in Australia we dont seem to have any shortages or waiting times. Freely available in all cals at the local gunshops.

It was a good if sinister show, will have to watch it again to cop the comment, I have a copy in my movie library. Clint Eastwood is one of the greats, along with Lee Vand Cleef who always appears to play 2nd fiddle to Mr Eastwood.

Uberti 1873 in 44WCF, I own one and it is faultless, fit/finish excellent with 24 inch Octagonal barrel. It shoots as good as it looks. One in 38/40 is also on the agenda.

pokey, you got it right mate, load 1 skip one load 4 drawback hammer and rest on empty chamber. Guess the sheila dont need cartridges in the belt loops if its cap n ball in the holster, might be different if its a cartridge conversion. The smoke will last alot longer without a light hey!!

None of my SAA has ever been fed factory ammo, guess they must be suffering from malnutrition. They shoot just fine with 250/260 grain RNFP and LSWC with Unique/Universal/2400. I benched my Colt SAA 45 today, used 250g RNFP and 258g LSWC tried three powders Unique/Universal/231, the piece did not like 231 at all, the other two shot ragged one holers over 7 yards, was about to move out to 15 and 25 when down came the rain, so that will have to wait for another time.
