In Texas you can carry concealed in you vehicle During the 2007 legislative session this law was adjusted to make it easier on law abiding citizens to carry a handgun in their vehicle. There are a couple of things which you need to remember while doing this, if it is going to be legal. The first is ...

Looking for a slip on type. I've checked all the websites (Cabella's, Midway, etc.) that I normally check and I can't tell from their descriptions whether they will work or not. Any suggestions ? Thanks

Marlin 1893 ?

I see the prices on these going up more this year than normal. I think the reason is that since Winchester went out of business, their prices went out the roof so to speak and people couldn't or wouldn't pay the prices that the dealers were asking?
What do you think?

Thanks for the input. The ring is in the neck area and I don't have a clue either how this happened. It was made in 1908 and has the round barrel and from what I can gather from the Madis book, they made fewer round barrels in the early production.

I picked up an 94 Winchester a few weeks ago in 32-40. Mechanically everything worked fine with good rifling. The rifle shoots great, but then my trouble starts. You literally had to beat the shells out of the bore. I finally got around to taking it to a gunsmith yesterday. I showed him the shells a...
