Re: Prettiest levergun

Here's the little lady's Ltd. 357 mag with a stainless convexed Trailmaster Bowie. I polished the receiver for her last December, but haven't polished the knife yet... http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/ff310/StumpBuster/SylviasCombo024.jpg ...I think it's purty cute, but more importantly...she LIKE...

Re: If you could shoot any firearm...

game keeper, The offer is good over here too if you enter the occupied zone here in Northern Kalifornia. Just give me a heads up before you get here and you can shoot anything I have in the safe. You have to experience as much variety as you can while you're here and I'm sure fellow levergunners are...

Re: Why don't .35 cal rifle historically do very well in the US?

Thanks JP! I'll look into those bullets too! I was thinking the TSX would work okay because Conley Precision has a load made up with it going about 2550 fps. I'm hoping with Ruger re-introducing the 358 in their Hawkeye, the 358 will make a small comeback, or even better, Hornady, Remington and Fede...

I just Gotta reply... Don't have an answer....but I'm becoming a .35 addict. It all started with a 336 in .35 Remington last year. This year I began looking for a Whelen......... Over 680 views on this one. Wow....we ALL must have known what the picture was, but just wanted to make sure this remains a respectable site! Somehow even after seeing the picture posted, I can't say our reputation is any better.

Re: Which lever has the best feeling action?

If rimfires are included, based on my battery...I have to go with my 9422XTR. I'd like to try a 39, '73 or '86 though! :D

Re: want a leveror pump 357 maximum

A Ruger No.1 has a lever.

If you find one in 357 mag. it could probably be re-cut easy to maximum length. The hard part would be finding the No.1.

Re: OT - Western movies - did you know?

Hey Ysabel & Hobie, Didn't know that and Lonesome Dove is one of my favorites! Syl and I watched Cheyenne Moon (the last of the trilogy, but the movie that brings all the players together in their younger lives) on New Years Eve. It's almost as good as the original and I thought the cast did a g...

The hiring process is long, but.... Law Enforcment agencies across the country are hurting for good people. I would LOVE to see more gun savvy, Pro-Second Amendment folks applying. It used to be most LEO's were familiar with firearms, but these days ,more and more people getting into this field have...

Mike,

As stated in my last p-mail, You are one of the best! Have faith that you will again see each other and you each made your time on this planet a little better, if even for only a short time.

All the best and may each tommorrow be easier for you.

Mike
