Interesting, several online places have it listed for $441.oo. and it has a security system built in that requires a key to unlock the rifle. the security system is no where as intrusive as that stupid cross bolt on older winchester equipped models and the one on the marlins. I am building a tactical lever gun out of a rossi mod 92 in 44 mag. I can find just about all parts except a picitinny rail that will fit the dovetail on the Rossi. The scope is going to be one of the holographic sights so I dont need a big rail.

My 16"rossi is a 44 mag, which I usually have loaded with mouse phart loads, and in the bag a box of 320 gr bear loads. I cast 200 gr and 240 and 250 and the afore mentioned 320. gun is light, handy, and shoots straight enough for close quarters defense against two or four legged predators.
