Here's my Marlin 1895 in 50AK done by Gary Reeder. The rifle shoots and feeds great! He had to sell me on the muzzle break but even with it the recoil is stout :shock: It also will prolong the life of your rifle's stock and scope if you decide to go that way. http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/bb35/...

Just to be sure. The rate of twist in the micro groove barrels is 1 in 38" correct? The Ballard rifling that is being produced now in the 1894's and the 1895's is still 1 in 38" ,yes?

Take some emory cloth and lay it flat on your work surface. Sand the bottom of the sight,by gently passing it over the emory cloth. Doing it this way you will never have to adjust the side angles and you know the bottom will always be flat Check often
