Howdy Folks, It happened to me a couple of years ago.... I was cleaning my 1911, racking, pulling the trigger, etc ... I don't remember doing it, but I put in a magazine and resumed.... Well, the bullet went through 3 walls and left the building..... It also went thru my shower stall barely missing ...

Howdy Folks, I finally got the '86 and the 336 that was keyholing.... The '86 was built in 1890, the 336 built in 1958.... OK, the '86 seems to be in good mechanical condition, but the bore is the worst sewer pipe I've ever seen ....... Sad.... OK, the 336 bore took a .305 pin gage.. (Micro groove) ...

Howdy Folks, I have neither caliber or rifle, so I can't check for myself, But: a friend has a problem with an old Marlin 336 that when firing .30-30, it keyholes really bad.. Bore looks good... Is it possible that he's firing .30-30 in a .35 Rem gun..? Will a .30-30 chamber and fire in a .35 Rem ca...

Howdy Folks, I've messed with the front post on a couple of Mosin front sights to get a 100 yd zero... I put a short piece of insulation from #14 solid copper wire on the front post.. It's a little fat, but leaving it about .060 or so higher than the original is a quick, cheap way to get a better PO...

Howdy Folks, I have a golf ball launcher for an AR.... At low angle of attack, so that you can follow the ball, it probably goes 250 yds or so.. At a higher angle, for max range, who knows.... I lose sight of the ball long before it comes down... A golf ball weighs about 700 gr, at about 350 fps, it...

Howdy, The locking bolt not engaging for some reason sounds real to me.. My opinion is to stay away from the one piece firing pins, BECAUSE, if the locking bolt doesn't get properly into place and push the rear firing pin into position, the bolt isn't properly locked and may put a dent in your foreh...

Howdy, I've latched on to a BB steel .357, .44 mag, .45-70.. All fine rifles, made in America, etc.. I like the front tube loading, YMMV..... I sometimes wonder if the side loaders aren't an emotional attachment to the old stuff... Get both, but don't let the front loader interfere with trying a goo...
