Hey there fordwannabe -- The nubbin from the ejector protrudes through the receiver in the near vicinity of the sight mounting screws, but not on the same plane. Could you be mistaking this for a sight mounting screw? Hope this helps. Best regards. Wind

Here is a guy that can work them pretty well. It's a world record. The rifle can start mounted on the shoulder, loaded with ten rounds, chamber empty.
