We interrupt this program.....

I was right at the end of a favorite TV show when my wife calls from the other room. There was a sense of urgency in her voice so I figured what the heck I can catch the program again sometime and went to see what she wanted. She was on the Amazon site and on the screen were boxes checked for Big Bo...

Too bad you can't have a mold made with a hollow center core. Then you could insert a precut tungsten rod to give it strength and weight. Or maybe you could have a mold made that holds the rod as the tin is poured in. Too bad Barnes doesn't license out their Silvex formula to commercial bullet caste...

I would think that the .357 cal full wadcutter would have a meplat of at least .35". That is larger than a lot of meplats on .429 hard cast bullets. Penn makes a 230 gr Thunderhead SOFT cast bullet for 38/.357 revolvers for guys that shoot bowling pins. The thing looks like a flying oil drum an...

SD and BC for the Barnes XPB pistol bullets is why I bought a SBH instead of a Blackhawk in .45 Colt. The 225 gr 44 mag bullet has the same SD as the 250 gr 454 Casull bullet and much better BC. Plus, per Barnes the 225 gr bullet will hold together in both 44 mag carbine and 444 Marlin rifle velocit...

Nice. How would you deal with a wildlife officer? It's not like steel shot where they could be tested with a magnet, or like copper where they look a lot different. That's easy. Carry one of those "lead paint" testers with you. It should work for bullets too. I suppose the Game Wardens wi...

It could also be skewed by the fact that Winchester/USRAC is no longer making the Model 94 and Model 70, since their favorite choice was not available. Crimping bullets without a crimp groove in the 45 Colt

I want to load the Barnes .451 300 gr Expander MZ bullet in the 45 Colt cartridge. There is no crimping groove because it is intended to be used with a sabot in a .50 cal muzzle loader.
