Re: Nother new toy
I looked at a few Remingtons and didn't care for what I seen. The slide stop had rounded edges and some of the other edges just didn't seem clean and crisp. It may have been just the few that I seen. I have not seen any of there commander's. I like the Ruger better than other 1911's that I can affor...

I've been wanting another Colt Commander in stainless and was looking at the biggest toy store in my area yesterday. They didn't have any thing but a lightweight commander in 38 super. Re: Primers backing out
Thanks guys, the old winchester ammo was the one having primers back out. Remington ammo was fine, no primers backing out. I checked the headspace with a nogo gauge and bolt wouldn't close all the way so that should be fine. My nogo guage is only .006" larger than the rim spec is that the norm ...

I had my new old Winchester 94 in 32 special out this past weekend and was shooting some old Winchester ammo in it. The primers would back out of every round I shot but the new Remington ammo was fine. Did the old stuff, probably from the 80's loose some of its kick or something else? I know when yo...

Yes indeedy, these are interesting times. In my short fourtyseven years here on earth, I have not seen anything like this. Gun bans have been slung around since I can remember. I bought this 1894 at the local antique gun show this past weekend. It's a 32W.S. and has the 2/3 mag tube. I like the shorter magizine tubes they look more sleek to me.
