Thanks for the links and input everyone. I'm getting the hang of the springer now. I bought a set of three cheapo metal plate spinner targets from Wally World. Two are 3" in diameter, and one is 2" in diameter. I've been shooting off the deck with my hand just resting between the railing ...

Word of warning on cheap gas prices. Less at the pump, less $$ coming in for the tax collector(s). They /will/ be looking for other avenues to make up the difference. Re: Easy access to regular levers over?
Our shop is buying leverguns and selling them. However, prices are, to my thinking, just a bit high. On the other hand, the dollar isn't worth what it was and that has to be accounted for as well. We sell LOTS of Ruger American and Savage Axis rifles for less money or just a little more with a scop...

'Bout ten years or so ago in my buy-cheap-stack-deep phase I was able to easily acquire various flavors of levers. At the time and it seems up to about five years ago I could buy regular 30-30's at my local pawns in the $250-275 range for Marlins, $325 for Winnies. I remember a Revelation (renamed ...

I stupidly sold it in 2002. It had a Weaver K4 in the original mount, probably from the original owner, shot great. The rifle doesn't "have" to be scoped, but keeping the option would be nice. For what's basically a 100-125 yard rifle, 99% likely it would have a Lyman or similar aperature...

Their 6.5x55 has been fine for reloading... Same with the 357 mag, but I swage the primer pockets as a first step.
I've heard complaints about tight primer pockets in 9mm brass from S&B, but that may have been due to a light primer crimp being applied and not swaged out prior to reloading.
