I'm not watching, mainly because I'm at work. But don't really care since the Bears or the Colts didn't make it I lost interest. Although I am taping just so I can see the commercials.

I give the internals a good healthy blast of WD40, and let the excess drain off. The exterior gets light machine oil (3 in 1) wipe down. Wood gets Olde English furniture oil wipe down. My guns are usually not in long storage (years), usually just short term (less than 6 months).

Wife and I took this in last night. Good story line, surprise ending, at least not what I expected. Overloaded with foul language and lots of racial slurs. Nice M1 Garand and 1911 for the star, and a couple of uzi's for the gang. Recommended, but heed the warning on language.

I do like Sixgun, unless I just happen to be standing next to the phone when it rings. The wife answers, or the answer machine picks up, if it's someone I want to talk to I call them back. Indiana has a "no call" law and we are on the list, it works pretty good.

Very nice rifle. While I was in Illinois last week for Christmas vacation, I hooked up with one of my old shooting buddies. He stumbled onto a rifle just like this except for the tang sight. I think a .357 Herett would be the cat's whiskers in a 92 type action. Nice rimmed case since it's based on the 30-30, it was designed for deer hunting in the Contender handgun. Should be great from a 16-20 bbl rifle. Now where did that come from on a discussion of .454, .480 .500...... :? ....must ...
