Re: Is Your Church Posted As A Gun Free Zone?
I do not recommend that any man violate his conscience in matters of faith. Some have stronger faith than others. As long as the twain are both brothers in Christ, the difference is of minor significance. And the direct admonition is for the stronger in faith to not rattle the weaker in faith. Ther...

Re: Is Your Church Posted As A Gun Free Zone?
Mt. 5:39 Thought of being armed a Christian church is despicable. One might ask then why would he have instructed the disciples if they had no sword to sell their coat an by one if there was no intent of defending ones self from evil. Scripture now leaves us in a sticky spot. Some of them did have ...

Re: Is Your Church Posted As A Gun Free Zone?
About 10 years ago a church in Gary, Indiana had their offering stolen after the services in the parking lot. The custodian was armed and responded to the robbery. Shortly after that two of us on the elders board noted that we will be armed along with another senior member. No one but the pastor was...

The proper attire to be worn below your kilt are a pair of sturdy shoes and mid-calf socks. Hiking boots will work as well.

I'm not knocking anyone getting different trigger, but I'd be leary of trying to improve something that has proven itself 100% reliable. I "improved" my 317 mouse gun with a professionally recommended spring that lightened the pull, and it didn't go boom all the time due to light strikes....

Indigo, I just checked out that Sweat Pea trigger on RTK's site. Looks like a worthwhile upgrade for $50. Yes Bill, it is well worth the $50 for me. With the adjust-ability and the slightly different angle of the trigger it has aided greatly in my ability to shoot with my off hand should I need to....

Indigo, what parts have you swapped out besides the trigger? I upgraded the springs to the Wolff 12# spring set. The new springs reduce the felt recoil and doesn't pitch my brass quite so far. I installed a set of Pearce grip extensions, although the Ruger extension is a little shorter and fit my h...

These are the two knives I keep going back to. The Cold Steel Pocket Bushman and the Schrade SS1 are almost always top choice to ride in my pockets. Or go shopping at your local, well-equipped hardware store (ours is an ACE Hardware) for a good selection of springs... find on that fits in your hole, and wants to remain in it... and is about 3/8" long, then reassemble the rifle... spring keeps the trigger forward, rather than back... but......

What firearm are going to load them for? As another posted stated you really need to slug the barrel and -- if for a revolver -- also measure cylinder throats. I had --emphasis on had -- an early Ruger vaquero in .44-40. Problem: barrel was .429". Seems as if Ruger built some with the .44 magn...

My buddy and I used to shoot golf balls with our 22lr kit guns back in the early 80's. Throw one out there and make it hop until it is either out of range or stuck in a foot print in the sand. This last winter I made a trade for a Stevens Model 56 Buckhorn. It took a little work to get it into shape as it had been stored in the back of a closet for 20+ years.
These rifles are well built and amazing sleepers on the target range. Surprised quite a few folks.
