Hey All,
I’ve looked a bunch of places in the search feature for information, coming up with little.
Can I still order/buy a copy of his CD?
Thanks, Tom

Just my opinion Mike.... I think a stainless barreled action, internal magazine,(your choice...Rem, Win or others), Cerakoted Satin Black, dropped into a laminated stock. Good 4x scope (or variable), with excellent detachable mounts including Talley or Brockman backup peep sight and a banded front s...

Put your barrel in padded vise, saturate the bore with Kroil. Chuck up a rod in a portable drill, attatch your bronze jag, wrap a patch around it and give it a go with JB paste. Remington will tell you to remove the stocks and soak the entire weapon in RemOil....let it sit overnight standing up and wipe it down with a lint free cloth moistened with RemOil. Re-assemble and it's usually good for about 6-8 months of use or storage. I know it sounds like a pain, however...

This should be a good match up. The 307 Win is basically the same cartridge as the 308 Win. Same dies. Maybe 2400 fps is more realistic to shoot for.Buck Elliott wrote:As does the Speer #14 Manual...Nath wrote:My old Speer manual list that bullet for 307 loads!

Hey All, I've been thinking of toning down my 308 Win loads a bit in my Remington 7600. The question is "can I use the Speer 170 gr JFP at about 2500fps and not have a failure"? I was envisioning a 250 yard or less load. This would cover 95% of my hunting needs, no elk, just deer and hogs....

Re: Round balls in shotguns
Stan,
They like alot of choking, use a full or superfull turkey choke. You should get all 3 balls in about 4-6" at 40-50 yards. No kidding. A friend of mine uses them for deer and they are absolutely devastating.
Good luck and have fun, Tom
