Well said brian. if i wanted to hunt with an inline id just take my lever gun out when i could hunt with the flinter.

are they fenced in almost tame animals?

if so that aint my kinda hunting at all.... hunting is a special thing to me not a contest or just a hobbie.

thanks fellas...that 30-30 does do wonders takin 3 sitka blacktail deer buck in alaska past fall it did. and the west is callin my name man...been out there a few times...headed back next month gonna make i all the harder to get through my last year of school...

and to clean the hog im guessin or the flinter? hog i skinned with my knife. and gun i put the barrel in hot soapy water and then run dry patches to dry it.

Is was about a 40 or 50 yards shot, i hit him good but he got into his hole and was dying as he went down, i grabbed him and pulled him out, yes no lie, and i hit him in the head with the butt end of my hatchet, it was 90 grains of 2f i believe and a jacketed sabot, i aint got roundballs shootin wel...

A/HO Pete! i myself am into a primitive archery my only kll so far has been a ground hog but anywho... i hunt a lot with my .50 caliber flintlock, one of the only guns ill use along with my lever guns.. but i couldnt ever see myself using an in-line and thats just me.,..

thanks fellas, it was a day of big medicine for me, i had been hunting groundhogs with my longbow and decided to take the ole lever gun that day and im glad i did, im not sure if i could have arrowed that yoddler at 50 yards, doubtfull

Coyote i managed to stalk and call in with a strand of grass hit him at 50 yards in the neck and he flipped around and i got closer and shot again but missed and shot again and dropped him there. .22 Henry good rifles i also killed a squirrel awhil agi too
