Re: For 35 Remington shooters -- bullet mold
I'd heard LEE had an RCBS 200 gr. clone. It ought to shoot if it's big enough! After trying a number of different molds for my Marlin with microgroove, I got the RCBS and seem to be able to do no wrong... Full power, it groups in about 3" ( from the bench) centered on the 8" heavy plate at...

Friend sent me this link, includes a write up of a couple of my favorites - the Savage Hammerless and Van Norman Duplex milling machines. Thought some of you might like it as well.

I like the Leupold 1-4X with heavy duplex reticle. Mine are Vari-X II's, maybe the newer models are even better optically. The heavy duplex stands on extremely well in low light. I have a couple on leverguns and 1 on an AR15, been real happy with them and you can't beat the warranty.

I believe I recall hearing about some stretched frames with .444 Contenders. My interest has been with milder chamberings in carbine barrels so don't take it as gospel - just what I think I recall from the past. Ought to be a handfull, even with reduced loads!

I like the Peltor Ultimate 10. At the time I bought them they had a very high rating for decibel reduction for their cost. I'd like an electronic set for shooting when there are alot of others on the line but don't have them yet... I sure would like to see some "kid size" muffs.

If you can't find 25-20 brass, buy some 32-20, which is more readily available and just run them through a 25-20 FLS. I've been doing that for 35 years when my 25-20 supply runs low.----------Sixgun I've been using Starline .32-20 brass and Imperial sizing die wax.. Be gentle, size a little, wipe th...

Back in the early '70's I worked in a gunshop that handled warranty repairs for all the major manufacturers, including Marlin. A regular customer brought in a 336 in .30-30 that was "locked up", couldn't open the lever. Seems his son had decided to use dad's stuff and reload a few .30-30's...

I shoot both .25-20 and .32-20 but in Savage M/23 bolt actions. I want to like the .25-20 more but can't... I cast for both. You will find much more variety in molds, or jacketed bullets for that matter, for the .32-20. Brass is a problem, both availability and quality once you find it. Get Starline...

Someone asked awhile back about .222R from .357 Max. As I had some brass and dies I had to know and this is what I found. It's easy to form brass.
