I carried a dollar bill in my SAA... for a long time. Just a little charring after a lot of shots fired. If you live "off the wagon" I guess having a hidey hole for certain things like cash can be a premium.

Been playing with those 130 grain FMJ's... that's all I can get.........and many of the new "defensive" cartridges are coming in around 125 grains.

What say ye? What's the latest "best" defensive cartridges for the short 38 Special.

pretty much what the other have offered. I shoot behind with a SxS and tend to sight from the edge of the barrel....gets me in trouble all the time. i dont seem to have the same troubles with a O/U.

if i remember to shoot off the bead.. things work a lot better.

My son is a graduate of what started as a Preberterian college...Alma College in Alma MI. The usually rate in the top 20 small Liberal arts schools. Alma is secular these days... but not a party school. My son enjoyed the small campus. I don't know much about Sterling but it looks like a pretty good...
