I must be the black sheep of this board. I still don't own a lever action rifle.
If I did, I could hunt varmints, small game and black bear in my home state of Massachusetts. Deer are a bow, shotgun and muzzleloader only proposition.

Re: Beavers in the UK
Good news but as others have explained it can be a mixed blessing. All members of the rodenta family are prolific breeders. I can't offhand think of too many natural predators of these European beavers. So for now they are a curiosity. Given time they will breed and expand their range. Beavers are r...

I am not sure if you can get this ammunition over there but CCI makes a type of 22 lr called Quik Shok. The bullet is prefragmented into three peices and swaged into a hollow point. It was designed to give better performance to the 22 lr. I have used it on things like woodchucks out of my 16" T...

One of the things that I have noticed about those shopping mall stores is that they are all the same and sell mostly stuff made in China. I avoid them due to that fact. They don't seem to have what I want or need. So why patronize them? I believe others are doing the same.

The deer tag that is sold with your hunting license in NH is good for the whole state. It isn't zone specific. The zones are used to determine what days you can hunt antlerless deer with that tag. Some zones are bucks only while others have a long antlerless season. Others are in between. Zone A whi...
