Re: Did anyone else get "Personal & Confidential" letter from the NRA
I stayed an annual member for over 40 years for this very reason. No organization is beyond corruption. Once this stuff with Wayne came out, and the fact that it was overlooked, I was done. No more. The only thing I continue to utilize is the auto generated letters to politicians. I still receive th...

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
I'm ok. Mostly. In spite of feeling like garbage (only worked one day last weekend), I've managed to do a little this week. I ran to camp with the Jeep (first time driving in this year) and fixed the sink sprayer. It was a casualty of winter. I brought up a new maul and rearranged some stuff. It was...

I'll give you the pencil sharpener back, but you'll have to come up here and get it.
We can even take a ride through Cornville and "see the sights".
Good for you GK! Sounds like you're livin large! Now I'm jealous.

The "lunch date" was last week in Kodiak. Wife and I stole the kids Jeep and did some riding around on his gas. Yeah, if a cut tree hangs up, you can just cut the second tree. Issue here is the tree hasn't been cut yet. It's broken off about 10 or 12 feet up. Ain't no way I'm cutting that ...

Luckily, we don't get a hassle from TSA. Going through security on each end is a little one room affair with about 6 people. In fact, Kodiak airport is bigger than Augusta Maine, by a good bit. Johnny, Yes, the 76 is basically just a scaled up 73, still utilizing the toggle action. It's a huge rifle in relation to the size of its chamberings, much as the 73 is. However, as a black powder rifle, they were quite good and plenty strong. Disassembly is less complicated than the Browning Winche...

With all my love for the 92, there is no question that the 94 is the more positive feeder by a long shot. The 94 was a big advancement. The "sloppiness" is from the shift in pivot point of the dropping lower link. It gives mechanical advantage and shortens the lever throw in relation to ca...

Yup. T.G. Bennett asked JMB for a scaled down version of the 86 to replace the 73. Browning had a working model on Bennett's desk in a couple weeks to get a bonus and win a "bet" of sorts. The 92 is a slick little rig. In recent years it's fallen out of favor with the CAS crowd, but the nu...

You should be good to go with that 92. Start out with some factories or standard pressure handloads to get a feel for it. If you plan on running any volume through it, use cast or coated bullets, as it's most likely not a nickel steel barrel (it will say under the forearm). Many will say the old Lym...
