Like OI, I tend to like the streamlights and they're a better value than the surefires.

CR123A's can be had more economically if you buy them in packages of 12 or more.

THIS one from Remington really has my interest. Found it HERE for about $43.

Having had one for years, they're a pain in the...fanny. They are appropriate in some situations but I generally don't like them. I do agree that LEO's and other CCW's are the only ones that notice them tho.

I use Sport Wash and have for years. It's cheap and available at walmart and Academy Sports. Never seem to have any trouble.

Some manufacturers do have clothes that reflect UV. If you suspect yours does then the UV killer is worth a try.

I'm alive and dry, I've just been busy.

North central okc got 11.5" of rain Monday. I work downtown and saw a few stalled cars but that was all. I know that flooding was bad elsewhere in the city though. My house stayed dry.

Since the brass is much softer than the barrel steel, I can't see it doing it any harm.

Those might make a pretty cool sabot load in a 45 or 50 cal muzzle loader. No idea what they'll do out of a 44 CF.
