Re: The Big Bee--Marlin 336 Cowboy

I turned my wife into a monster with one... She has bought jewelry and collect able dolls as her hobbies for the last thirty or so years, me, not so much. I buy and once in a while sell guns, almost always make a healthy profit. Mostly double my investment. She was carping about how she can't even ...

Re: The Big Bee--Marlin 336 Cowboy

An unaltered, minty condition 336 Cowboy in 30-30 would, in my estimation, fetch somewhere north of $1500 and could go considerably north of there if sold during the right time of the year. There have been no recent sales on gunbroker, which gives you an idea of their scarcity and/or the love that ...

I haven't been able to find any that were recently sold. 2013 is about the last posts I've found.

The Big Bee--Marlin 336 Cowboy

Found this in the gun store and brought it home today. Marlin 336 Cowboy in 30-30. I hope it shoots as good as it looks! Does anyone know a value on one of these? From what i've seen, they linger in the $1000 range. Is that fairly true?

I've had one for over ten years. No telling how many rounds I've put through it.

Re: Anyone here fool wth the 10mm?

I've got a Canadian 16-40 that I use in USPSA and 3-gun and it runs great. I don't understand why people are always so quick to down Para. That being said, RIA is making a double stack 10mm that I would be looking into. If not the double stack, one of their SS guns may be in order. A guess, but you...

Re: Anyone here fool wth the 10mm?

I wanted to build a long slide 10mm Glock for years and I finally did last winter, bought a frame and a Lone Wold slide and barrel. And try as I might, I just couldn't warm up to large frame Glock's grip. So I decided to part it out. Of course that was the very week Glock finally announced their fa...

Re: .444 for fun

I've used TrailBoss and small charges of Titegroup for reduced loads. Lots of fun, and cheap!
