Re: Range report-1886 .45-90 WCF

I FINALLY bought a new iMac G5 yesterday and had all the old files transferred to it. It turns out that my photo files in the old Mac had become corrupted by my own fault. Not all photos were salvageable, but most recent ones were. Below are some pics from the 5 July shoot. This is my little setup....

It's okay but I have a soft spot for the .264 win. . But with light bullets 120/125 the .264 is just as fast or faster than the .257 . I'm pretty sure Hoppe's has changed their formula for #9 solvent. If you read the formula given at Fr. Frog's website, http://www.frfrogspad.com/homemade.htm, it has a formula for #9 that lists different ingredients and different percentages of ingredients than are shown on the current MSDS for Hop...

I like my 16'' Barrel have to admit it is my first 92 type gun, My thinking was why get a long barrel for a pistol cal. I really like the 20'' in a 336 or 94 but in a trim little gun like a 92 that 16'' barrel is sweet! I love my 99s too, but to me they are in real rifle cals depends on how you look...
