Looks good to me. I once did some small parts and uses a pencil, eraser side down in a drill press, with some fine valve grinding compound. Worked OK and I did about 4 or 5 parts about the size of 1/2 of a dollar bill...

For your use, semi-permanent, blue loc-tite will work best. I have used clear silicone caulk/sealant on screws that will eventually be removed on/around the much vibrating engine on my boat.

I have never tried to "hot rod" my 45 ACP handloads. Bur for my SD preferences, I sometimes use a near max load of W231 under a cast Lyman 200 gr. SWC giving me about 950 fps outta my 1911 and Ruger P90 (right outta my Cast Bullet Handbook)...

I too would thin with mineral spirits. The mineral spirits will evaporate leaving a thin film of alox, and not enough left to combust/diesel under pressure. Ever consider a dry lube? Like graphite or mica?

I got an Acu'rzr a few years ago and processed a bunch of different ammo. The best all around 22lr, that works well in all my 22s is plain old Blazer 40 gr. solids. I run them through my Acu'rzr using the small hollow pointing tool and the swaged ammo is about 25% more accurate...

Thanks fellers. I only have one SA, a big heavy Ruger SBH w/7 1/2 bbl, and I've not had any grip problems (I can't remember adjusting the sights for windage), but of course can be wrong. The one revolver I had that shot to the left, shot that way for three shooters, amount varied by shooter. 4"...

I think I'd go with Trail Boss. It works quite well as a "soft shooter" load in my 44 Magnum Puma, and with RD 265 gr bullets it's pretty accurate...
