Hey there 3leggedturtle! I would say Red Wings hands down! Spending ten hours a day on my concrete shop floor, they have served me well. Back when I was on job sites more, they were great whether I was working in the dirt or shingling a roof.

Thats 8) . I am impressed with his regular practicing, how many rounds? Nath. I would say he started out doing three rounds at at time....working his way up to maybe nine or ten. He was pretty diligent with the practicing....he was out there probably five or six days a week, sometimes twice a day. ...

I was just reviewing this thread and realized I never thanked you all for the replies...so thanks! I have ordered some Cast Performance 300 gr. bullets, that should be here soon, but just realized I ordered the LFNGC, instead of the WFN. Would these still be recommended?

Hello, Planning a black bear hunt in MN next month....wondering what would be a good bullet/load for a Win. 94 .45 Colt? I had been planning on using my 38-55 but am kinda wanting to try hunting with the 45. I have a month or so to play around with some loads before I go.

For anyone interested, the History Channel is running a show right now called Extreme Marksmen. There is another espisode on at nine (central time), then I think they are showing both of them again later tonight.

I've seen the Lee/Speer disclaimer before, but it just occurred to me that I reload Speer bullets for my 25-20 with Lee dies & have never had any problem.

You can have both. A flattop upper with w removable carry handle. I'd agree. If you're unsure at all, get the flattop. That is how my Colt is.
