Hey there 3leggedturtle! I would say Red Wings hands down! Spending ten hours a day on my concrete shop floor, they have served me well. Back when I was on job sites more, they were great whether I was working in the dirt or shingling a roof.

I was just reviewing this thread and realized I never thanked you all for the replies...so thanks! I have ordered some Cast Performance 300 gr. bullets, that should be here soon, but just realized I ordered the LFNGC, instead of the WFN. Would these still be recommended?

For anyone interested, the History Channel is running a show right now called Extreme Marksmen. There is another espisode on at nine (central time), then I think they are showing both of them again later tonight.

You can have both. A flattop upper with w removable carry handle. I'd agree. If you're unsure at all, get the flattop. That is how my Colt is. I use it mostly for target practice with the carry handle peep sight. I have put a scope on it at times for longer work on prarie dogs out past 200 yds. Nic...
