Don't use water. Use silicone spray. the kind sold for waterproofing leather and such. Soak it really well, and jam the guns in tightly and leave to dry.

I haven't yet read or heard Sarah Palin compared to Harry Truman. Truman was a political pick...a compromise if you will...but a man of principle who, when he ascended to the White House, showed his mettle and turned out to have more backbone than just about any other president in the 20th century....

O.S.O.K. I am sure that you are right about a Marlin being more accurate than the Taurus but this is just a fun gun. Besides, even with aging eyes, I have a hard time putting a scope on a lever gun or a Thunderbolt, I just like the lines of the old style weapons. I am not above putting a tang sight...

I agree that it does not matter with his supporters but might make a difference in the important swing voters. I was born January 16, 1959, and was not allowed to register. My younger brother was born November 17, 1961, and was required to register. Obama should have registered. The Museum is a fine place to visit. I have been there several times, and will be there again the last week of this month. I am supposed to be pretty busy shooting and fishing, but I hope to get to the Historical Center sometime during the trip.

I have been loading the 200 grain Hornady Spire Point to 2717 fps for about 25 years now, clocked at ten feet from the muzzle of a 22 inch Savage 99-358. That is a dandy whitetail bullet, shoots flat, and very accurate. Certainly, but remember to start with a lower powder charge, and work up slowly...

You will most likely never break or wear out a part. However, you might lose one, so buying an extra of all the little small parts and springs would be a good idea.

I do it with somewhat of a circular motion, going down and forward at the same time, then rolling it back and grasping the grip. Not very practical, but I just do it to impress my four-year-old grandson. At that age, he is easily impressed, and I am his hero.

The latest SAA revolvers are superb. I have one that was built in late 2006, and it is a perfect sixgun, if such a thing ever existed.
