Hobie, about buying that AR-15................
Hopefully, none of us will ever need one in the gravest circumstances, but it can also do many things other than just save your hide.

It is the same model as used on the 94 Angle Eject. I did change the front sight, but that depends upon you caliber and load. Here is a list of Smiths recommended by XS:

Gentlemen, It is a lot simpler than some of you are trying to make this. Ruger makes what will sell. They have a lot of tooling that can be used to make what the public will buy. Ruger will sell probably 500 auto pistols for every Old Army. I love the Old Army. It is the best and strongest cap and b...

I don't know of a good source now. I bought my supply back in 1988 from a chemical supply company in Seattle, Washington.cutter wrote:Jeff Quinn wrote:I plug the bore and fill it with mercury. Gets out every little speck of lead.
That is very interesting. Where could one purchase mercury in that quantity?

Again, Sir, perhaps I wasn't clear. For that I apologise. I stated that the new Marlin XL7 was better than the Remington 710. I must have misunderstood your post. Remington makes a lot of good rifles, but the 710 is not one. In fact, that is why they no longer make it. Again, forgive me for not bein...

New Orleans Gun Owners, Please Read This........
NRA SEEKING OWNERS OF SEIZED GUNS IN NEW ORLEANS . . . When New Orleans police confiscated more than 1,000 firearms from law-abiding gun owners in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, the National Rifle Association and the Second Amendment Foundation filed suit against Mayor Ray Nagin and Police Supe...

While it is priced close to the Remington 710, it is a far superior rifle! That's just your opinion. Edit: Doesn't make it a fact. My opinion has nothing to do with it. Ask any gunsmith who has ever worked on a Remington 710. The local gunsmith here has worked on many that was sold by the Wal Mart ...

I agree that there are no earthshattering innovations in this new rifle. As stated in the review, there are features from many different guns used in the new Marlin. However, these features, for this price is news. While it is priced close to the Remington 710, it is a far superior rifle! In real do...

The lever is on the side now, and is used to turn a rotating bolt.
