Yep. They know everybody's scrapping for components.
I have been waiting for the core-lokts, so I can start reloading. I had everything I needed, except for the bullets I wanted, until now.
Can't wait!

Certainly not a "safe queen". But, it would make an excellent, practical, no-frills, workhorse of a gun.........especially in 35 Remington. You could use it for home security, deer/elk/black bear hunting, and even a boat paddle if push came to shove. :D That gun is designed for noth...

I would say look at the big picture. I don't know much about Rossi, but Marlins are still made in America. And unlike some American made products, they are still made with a degree of pride. From what I've gathered from several knowledgeable forum members, Marlin will stand by their product forever ...

Yep. From my limited experience with rifle cartridges, heavy and slower usually means less recoil. At some point the lighter loads' velocities "cross the line" and start to hurt. Regardless, I'm going to gradually work my way up to the heavier loads. Yesterday, my only flinch was on the fi...

Just got back from the range. After spraying the first few around a little, I got more comfortable. The last 5 shots at 7 yards formed a 1.5" group. Not bad for my first time shooting a high powered snubbie. I think the gun is a lot better than I am! I was using Magtech 38 Special 158 gr...

I'm starting to think that the revolvers may be a little too big. Any experience with the Kahr PM45? It's smaller than the J-Frames, and with the 45ACP, it has plenty of bang.

No offense intended, but I just don't buy "hydrostatic shock" as a killing factor. The animal might feel it, but I don't think the shock would kill the animal. Wild animals are infinitely tougher than humans. I once hit a white-tailed doe with my pickup going about 45 miles per hour. She w...

I like the idea of loading as I go with the tube fed mag. A detachable box mag is super fast and convenient until you realize all of them are empty. That would be a little stressful. Also, I would be more likely to conserve ammo with a lever than an auto-loader. And as far as I'm concerned, they can...
