If the CZ 511 is anything like the bolt action CZ 452 that I have (the most accurate .22 LR I have - dime sized groups at 50 yds.), it would be my first choice for a semiauto .22 LR. 10-22 would fit that job, and if you really wanted a blast from the past find a Remington nylon 66 or a speedmaster, and the old marlin model 60 (?) While I like the Nylon 66, it not a good candidate for a scope. It has a stamped steel reciever cover that the scope mounts to and it is held in place...

Re: Does anyone have a 38/357 Rossi 92 lever action that wil
I have one the first Taurus built Rossi 92's that feeds everything I've put in it so far, including Keith style SWC, both .357 and .38 Spcl. It is bone stock, although I bought a new ejector spring from Steve Young that I have yet to install. I had an older Rossi 92 in .44 Magnum that didn't like to...

Welcome to the forum! You've come to the right place if you are fascinated with lever guns. Very nice! What was yourM.V.? Joe, I'm not sure, but I would guess between 1700-1800 fps. This round is rated at around 1300 fps in a revolver, so I figure the 20" barrel in the Marlin is worth another 400 fps. I shot a 175-180 lb boar with this same rifle and round. The boar was a head shot a...

Good luck with your search. That rifle is a new one to me. A bit of advice on the photography. The reason the rifle appears so dark is because of the bright light behind it.
