One thing to remember, keep it on low power when not scanning . U don't want that Big Buck @ 50 yards on 9 power. Perry With all due respect, "scanning" with any riflescope isn't a good idea, moreso if other hunters may be in the area.......... A set of binoculars and/or a spotting scope ...

Looks very sturdy, it is really tiring looking at U-tube where their presses move about 3 inches on every pull of the handle. U can only stack stuff so high before it begins to fall. I don't think one is any better than another. Winchester brings more because of Name and scarcity. Some of the manufacturers just made some of their parts. I wasn't aware of the tapered case, I thought it was just a straight wall case ?

I just Love Old Winchesters and Colts. They just somehow go with Saddles and er uh Behemoth Animals. I to had to go with Goat fence, stupid Goats kept getting their heads caught. I found it. It is Shockwave Flash Object. Disabled it and no more pop up ads, then when I go back and enable it the ads start again. Looks like it was installed Oct 1st.

Went back in and took another look at the Rem 141 today. It does in fact say 141 on the receiver but not an A. It is a 4 digit serial # and chambered in 25. The Guy at the pawn shop has done some cleaning and the Bore looks really nice. No pitting and while not mirror it does shine. It has a problem...
